Who is this event aimed at?
Organisations with an interest in developing and delivering employment support to reduce economic inactivity across York and North Yorkshire with a focus on people with disabilities and health conditions.
What can I expect?
The event will be hosted by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority’s skills team. The event will cover:
- Background and overview of the Get Britain Working Trailblazer and Connect to Work programmes
- Key headlines from the recent survey
- Key data headlines on inactivity and health
- Updates on the implementation phase of the trailblazer so far
- Discussion groups on current provision, gaps and needs across work, skills and health and potential project ideas aimed at supporting those who are economically inactive.
What else do I need to know?
- Registration will be at 9.30-10am
- Networking lunch 1-2pm
- This is an opportunity for us to gain insights of the current work, experience and expertise of stakeholders and partners in work, skills and health and so the key focus of this event will be the discussion groups.
