Monthly virtual advice surgeries are available with the Deputy Mayor for Policing, Fire and Crime for residents and businesses across York and North Yorkshire. At private appointments any issues relating to policing and community safety can be raised.
The next virtual surgery will take place on Wednesday, 7 May 2025 from 11am until 1pm but surgeries take place regularly with details published online: https://bit.ly/DMPFCvirtualadvicesurgeries
Jo Coles, Deputy Mayor for Policing, Fire and Crime, for York and North Yorkshire said: “These appointments give York and North Yorkshire residents the chance to raise any issues or questions they have about crime, policing or community safety with me privately. The Mayor and I really want to make York and North Yorkshire a safe place for everyone, so these advice surgeries will provide that opportunity to discuss any concerns.”
The surgeries will take place on MS Teams or alternatively appointments can take place via a phone call. They will run on an appointment only basis, with each appointment lasting 15 minutes.
Appointments cannot be made to discuss any live investigations, whether about a police complaint or a criminal matter because doing so could jeopardise the investigation.
