Delivery Plan

There is always a risk that a strategy is nothing more than nice words on a page if it does not have a clear action plan that sits alongside it. We are committed to working with partners and ensuring the Growth Plan translates into tangible delivery and has a meaningful impact.

We will continue to work closely with central government, but we will not be solely reliant on them. We will provide local leadership and start driving change now through our existing mechanisms as a Combined Authority. This includes devolved funds such as the Mayoral Investment Fund and Adult Skills Fund; and providing strategic direction and influencing local and national policy through other strategies. £500k has been allocated from the Mayoral Investment Fund to support short-term activity, whilst our 10-Year Delivery Plan is in development.
