Mayoral Investment Fund
The York and North Yorkshire devolution deal includes a Mayoral Investment Fund worth £540 million. This is £18 million every year for 30 years. This fund is in addition to devolved funding for transport, education and business support.
These programmes will deliver on the priorities that are set out in the Economic Framework and the Mayor’s Vision.
Live Funds
In July 2024, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire David Skaith announced plans for four new funds worth up to £27.5 million over four years.
These funds are Vibrant and Sustainable High Streets Fund, Carbon Negative Challenge Fund, Skills Innovation Fund, and Business Innovation Fund.
The application process is now open for the Vibrant and Sustainable High Streets Fund, Carbon Negative Challenge Fund and Skills Innovation Fund.
The dates for Business Innovation Fund applications will be confirmed soon.
