Employers play a vital role in creating good work opportunities and reducing current and future economic inactivity. The Employer Support Programme aims to support York and North Yorkshire employers to build their capacity to create inclusive job opportunities that our residents need.
We have commissioned seven providers to work with employers in York and North Yorkshire:
“Thrive at Work is a whole-system programme supporting employers to create inclusive workplaces and individuals to overcome health or confidence barriers for sustainable, fulfilling work.”
“Conversations for Change programme offers holistic online coach and mentoring training, ensuring employees at every level can build healthier, more compassionate and inclusive workplace cultures.”
“FUSION helps businesses grow by building inclusive, healthy workplaces through expert workshops, Gen Z collaboration, and tailored support – boosting engagement, recruitment, retention, and workforce resilience.”
“A tailored programme of journals, coaching, and consultancy to help businesses create supportive, resilient workplaces, empowering individuals with the skills needed to thrive in employment.”
“A tailored programme supporting inclusive workplaces through employer training and neurodiverse self-employment pathways across York and North Yorkshire.”
“Thriving Workplaces and People helps individuals with health-related barriers access and sustain good work, while enabling employers to create healthier, engaged and more inclusive workplace”
“The Good Work Partnership Supporting good work for every business, every individual, inclusively. Helps employers embed practical and sustainable approaches to HR, wellbeing, and leadership”.
The Employer Support Programme is led by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, using funding from the Department for Work and Pensions’ Get Britain Working Economic Inactivity Trailblazer.
