- Impact: How likely are you to achieve your stated outcomes and outputs?
- Value for Money: Are your costs reasonable and competitive?
- Experience: Do you have the staffing and resource to manage the project day-to-day?
Key Application Form Guidance
To give your application the best chance of success, please note the following requirements:
- Identify the Opportunity: Clearly explain the specific export issue or opportunity your project addresses. Provide data or research (reports/evidence) to back this up.
- Set Measurable Targets: Avoid vague goals. Use specific targets, such as "increase export sales to France by 5%."
- Establish a Baseline: Tell us your current level of activity. If you are new to exporting, your baseline is zero.
- Demonstrate "Best Value": Outline the steps you’ve taken to ensure project costs are reasonable (e.g., comparing quotes for services).
- Risk and Mitigation: Show us that you understand the challenges facing your project and have a plan to manage them.
- Additionality: Explain why this project cannot happen without this grant funding and what other options you have explored.
