York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority (YNYCA) is now welcoming Expressions of Interests for our fourth round of Brownfield Housing projects.
We are now welcoming expression of interests from organisations seeking–
- Capital funding to help unlock affordable housing on Brownfield Land
- Accelerator funding to help move early-stage housing projects into development more rapidly*
Please note that: completed applications must be returned to YNYCA no later than 5pm (17:00hrs) on September 14th 2026.

*Please note: our accelerator funding is subject to further CA approval. Applicants are advised that the EOIs are completed at risk, and the YNYCA reserves the right not the proceed with the funding of accelerator projects

- Unlock brownfield land
- Help address acute housing affordability pressures by increasing the supply of affordable homes
- Increase and accelerate the supply of new social rented home
- Increase the supply of specialist and supported housing
- Provide young people with the option to buy an affordable home
- Deliver of high-quality homes and great place making
- Deliver of sustainable, low carbon homes
- Contribute to YNYCA’s economic growth priorities
